ハナマテリアルデザインラボラトリー（通称：HANA LAB）は、
日本各地に眠る素材と技法を、
現代の視点で再解釈する実験的デザインスタジオです。
テキスタイルデザイナー光井花が、
職人や産地と協働しながら素材の可能性を探り、
その研究成果をプロダクトとして発表しています。
アートとプロダクトのあいだにある、
日常にひらかれた製品を提案しています。

Hana Material Design Laboratory (HANA LAB)
is an experimental design studio
that reinterprets materials and techniques found
across Japan through a contemporary perspective.
Led by textile designer Hana Mitsui,
the studio collaborates with artisans and regional producers
to explore the potential of materials,
developing products as outcomes of its research.
Positioned between art and product,
HANA LAB proposes objects that are open to everyday life.
